Wales - Lakes - Lochs
There are many lakes and reservoirs in Wales that hold interest for the fly fishing fraternity. With Brown and Rainbow Trout available to be caught. Some of the larger reservoirs stock with an average size of 1-2 lbs, but these fish can be exceptionally wary once they have become accustomed to their new surroundings, giving fly fishermen a real challenge.
Some of the smaller lakes stock with a higher average size, with many into double figures. Whatever your choice you can be sure of peaceful surroundings, and beautiful scenic settings.
With so many fly fisheries available it would be impossible to focus on them all here. But in the coming months we will try to list as many as possible in our new UK Counties - Fly Fishery Directory
