*New* UK Fishers Website Improvements

Postby Alex » Thu Oct 09, 2008 10:56 pm

UK Fishers would like to introduce our upgraded and updated website.

Including many new features and lots of new information for you to browse through.

UK Fishers is now home to the "ALL NEW UK FLY FISHERY DIRECTORY" with almost 600 fly fishing venues already listed.

Just click on our new interactive map to find your selected area or select from the county listings below the map.
We will be monitoring and updating the directory to include as many UK fly fisheries as possible.

We will soon be offering fly fishery owners/managers the option of placing further details and images of their fishery, which will help our 3000+ monthly visitors to select their fly fishing venues.

We are currently working on a FREE monthly newsletter for our online visitors, if you would like to receive the newsletter, please "sign up" on UK Fishers with your email address and we will add you to our mailing list.

If you have any info you would like included please email andy@ukfishersonline.com or via our contact form.

We now publish many more fly fishing related articles from the Environment Agency, ACA, UK Fishers and from our online visitors.

There is some very interesting reading to be found among our article pages ranging from fly fishing to pollution and from area guides to fly fishing prosecutions also wildlife and fly life.

We have also added a small section for customer testimonials to be shown at random, if you would like to send in your thoughts on our flies and our service we would be glad to include them.

We hope you enjoy your time spent on UK Fishers and would like to thank you for your support.

Really cool directory, so helpful to know where the fisheries are down south - coming from Cheshire and now living in London this is really helpful.

Thanks :-)

You are very welcome.

The directory was/is a very complex idea that started out to be just a basic tool,,,but no sooner had we started we realised as always "if somethings worth doing etc", so our little directory turned into a huge directory, which took many more hours to get right than either Alex or myself thought.

But it is now growing rapidly and our visitors are using it more and more, it is fast becoming one of our most visited pages.

It works well for fishermen and fishery owners/managers alike and i am sure that is why it is successful.
We are just in the process of making an overseas directory too, as we are receiving requests from overseas fisheries to be included within our site.

Here are the links if anyone would like to take a look:
http://www.ukfishersonline.com/fly-fishery-directory.html
http://www.ukfishersonline.com/overseas-fishery-directory.html

The directories are very user friendly, and if you know of any fisheries that you wish to be included, please email the details into us and we will add them.
