Ireland - Rivers
There are many rivers in Ireland, with “The Shannon” being the longest, not only in Ireland, but in the UK.
The Shannon is home to many famous beats and pools and is responsible for some superb catch results.

Ireland - Loughs
Ireland has a myriad of Lough’s (lakes) ranging through the size spectrum, from small to dauntingly huge. Many contain wild Trout and Salmon and are set in spectacular countryside.
Lough Corrib is home to Salmon and Trout, at 44,000 acres it boasts the 2nd largest lake in all of Ireland. Lough Corrib stretches around 35 miles long and is full of quiet bays for a perfect day’s fly fishing.
With so many fly fisheries available it would be impossible to focus on them all here. But in the coming months we will try to list as many as possible in our new UK Counties - Fly Fishery Directory
